Meet Your Board Member
Angela “Angie” Farsee is the Vice President of Human Resources for Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC). Angie has 35 years of human resources experience primarily in the finance and utility industries. She has been with GTC since 1998.
Throughout her career Angie has been an active member of numerous organizations such as United Way and the Society for Human Resources Management. Angie currently serves as Treasurer for the Georgia Energy and Industrial Construction Consortium (GEICC), is the Parliamentarian/Historian for the Generation & Transmission HR Association, and previously served on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) Workforce Advisory Group. Angie is a past participant and graduate of the Leadership DeKalb program. Previous professional and community service activities include the following:
- President, Georgia Energy and Industrial Construction Consortium
- President, National G & T Human Resources Managers Association
- Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM)
- Co-Chair, SHRM Atlanta Diversity Committee
- Board Member, United Way of the Quad Cities
- Board Chair, Family Resources of the Quad Cities
Angie holds a BBA and MBA from Kennesaw State University.
Ms. Farsee and her family relocated from the Midwest and have been residents of Georgia for over 25 years.
Key Contributions to the Association
As the Parliamentarian/Historian of the National
G&T HR Association Inc., she supports the Association by:
· Serving as the liaison to the G&T Managers' Association.
- Maintaining the historic records of the Association.
· Advising the Association of the proper rules of order and the proper procedures.
