Meet Your Board Member

Kerrie Robison was born and raised in Southeast Kansas.  While in college, and working for a local cabinet manufacturer as an Operations Assistant, she found herself assisting with HR-related duties and quickly realized she not only enjoyed the HR function, but was pretty good at it. She went on to receive her Associates degree in Business Administration and has spent the majority of her 21-year HR career in the oil and gas segment of the energy industry, before joining KAMO Electric Cooperative, Inc., where she currently serves as Director, Human Resources. Outside of work, she’s a wife to husband, Tim, and mom to daughters Bailee, and Alyssa, sons Jay’lon, and Teyton and two fur-babies, Maxey and Sadie Mae.  She and her family enjoy watching sports (all of them, but football reigns supreme), enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Key Contributions to the Association

As Past President of the National G&T HR Association Inc., she continues to play an active leadership role by:

• Providing guidance and strategic insight in her capacity as Past President.

• Actively participating in all Association meetings to support informed, collaborative decisions.

• Contributing to key committees to help drive the Association’s mission and initiatives forward.

Why She Serves

“Giving back and building relationships has always been at the core of who I am personally and professionally,” said Kerrie.  She most enjoys partnering with her peers to be part of something bigger.   “It’s a great way to contribute to the greater good, work to build and improve HR presence and practices within the cooperative community, all while building professional partnerships and friendships.”
